Social & Emotional Wellbeing

The Social & Emotional Wellbeing program was started in 2017 and provides a counselling service to our Aboriginal clients to support their social and emotional wellbeing.  Our team consists of a Registered Psychologist and two qualified counsellors, a male and a female.

Our Service is strictly confidential, and we are located in a culturally safe and secure location for your privacy.  We accept referrals from our GP’s here at Bega, other agencies as well as self-referral for mental health issues including depression and anxiety, grief and loss and other issues.  We also deal with alcohol and other drug issues including impacts on families.  We are flexible and can meet wherever suits you and can also arrange transportation in need.

We work in collaboration with Bega’s extensive program areas, and other agencies and stakeholders. We provide support to access other relevant services to prioritise your needs and offer choice to our local Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people.

For a confidential consultation please fill out the form here to contact us via this website.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land and
